The pen from the Artist 12 2. Generation graphics tablet is integrated with an X3 smart chip. The pen with smart chip is much more sensitive, natural and durable. This pen display will dramatically improve your sensory experience, convey a familiar pen-like feeling, and allow you to explore your new creative world. In addition, it has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and supports 60° tilt detection.

For the pens that detect pressure using a spring sensor, the pen tip recedes when drawing, which badly affects the drawing experience. Now comes a brand new X3 Elite pen that integrates a smart chip instead of a pen sensor. The feed path is shortened by 1x to 0.6mm. It avoids the problem of pen sensor and makes drawing or writing much more natural and intuitive.

The new X3 smart chip precisely processes electromagnetic signals by encoding them into digital data. The pen is 10 times more sensitive to pressure and the lowest recognition force is reduced to 3 grams.

There are 2 USB-C ports on the side of the graphics tablet. One is for the included 3-in-1 USB cable, the other is for the optional full-featured USB-C cable.The top one is for the USB-C to USB-C cable, the bottom one is for the 3-in-1 cable. It offers different connection options and ensures clean cable connection. (USB-C to USB-C is optional and not included.)

2. There are 2 ways to connect to the computer: 1. Using the supplied 3-in-1 cable, in this way the computer must have a USB-A and HDMI ports. 2. Via the XP-PEN fully functional USB-C cable. This way, your computer or cell phone needs to have a fully functional USB-C port. And do you still need to buy the fully functional USB-C cable separately.

3. The XP-PEN driver will be updated regularly. Please go to XP-PEN official website to download the latest driver.

4. A protective film is attached to the Artist 12 2nd generation graphics tablet from the factory. If you see scratches on the screen, please first check if scratches remain only on the film.
