The Kukirin V2 is a folding e-bike for commuters, campers and city riders. It scored points in the test with its slim design, compact construction and, above all, its price-performance ratio.

The 7-speed derailleur gearing from Shimano has a practical gear ratio and allows you to conquer moderate inclines. However, if you want to go fast downhill and on level ground, you have to pedal very quickly at 25 km/h.

The frame of the Kukirin V2 is made of aluminum, the wheels measure 20 inches. With a weight of around 19 kg and folding dimensions of 820 x 445 x 555 mm, it fits in any car trunk. The maximum payload is 120 kg and it is waterproof to IP54.

Practical: The energy storage unit can be removed for charging (removable battery). This means you don't have to lug the whole bike into your home and can always start with a fully charged battery.

The seat height can be adjusted between 595 and 745 mm - so most riders will find an ergonomic position.
